Monday morning: My Windows 10 PC is dead!

Monday morning has arrived in normal fashion as being all too soon and as you sit in front of your Windows 10 computer powering it up, you are confronted with a boot error message. The first thing that is alarming is that Windows 10 Startup Repair tools was designed to “intercede” at the first sign of an operating system startup problem and launches an automated diagnostic utility. In most situations, it will resolve the unbootable system but since you are presented with an error message, the severity of the problem prevented the tool from starting.

I know the first thing you say is “what happened from Friday until today that would cause this.” I have received calls on a Monday from clients having this same situation. Most often the issue will be that the Master Boot Record is damaged.
